Villa Ivoni is a spectacular place with an amazing view - Madonie mountains to one side; ocean to the other. The pool is really great, spacious and with convenient sun beds. Everything is very clean and kept exceptionally nice and neat by the owners who are very friendly and the most helpful hosts. They were situated in an appartment next to ours during our stay.

Given the premium price I was paying for the villa, I was disappointed to have to spend the first 48hrs of a 5 day stay acquiring pool towels , which were expressly listed in the list of included items in the voucher I was asked to sign. I contacted the agency rep who informed me they were not included but when I sent her the list she said she would contact the owners. The following day I was told the owners confirmed pool towels were not included. It was only on sending a screen shot of the voucher that we finally got the towels. Other issues were in each of the bedrooms one of the bedside lights had no lamp shade. Our management rep brought these as soon as I pointed it out and was helpful throughout our stay. Wardrobes in two of the bedrooms had two drawers at the bottom. On one wardrobe a drawer handle was missing and there was a protruding screw which was potentially dangerous and on the other wardrobe there was no handle on one of the drawers making it unusable. Finally, I think it should be pointed out that one of the ' double bedrooms' is barely large enough for the bed, so nowhere to put clothes and had only a curtain across the doorway, so no privacy. I am saddened that these matters detracted from what is a charming property. I have answered ' yes' to whether I would recommend this property to a friend, but only on the basis that the matters I have raised are dealt with.

Sehr schöne und saubere Aklage, die obere Wohnung hat sogar 2 Schlaf und Badezimmer. Leider aber keinen Balkon und dazugehörige Terrasse. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Very nice and clean apartment, the upper apartment even has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no balcony or terrace.

Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Es gibt kein Restaurant oder eine Bar in der Nähe. Es gibt einen Minimarkt wo man das Notwendigste bekommt. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The house and the furnishings are a bit old. The location is very nice. There is no restaurant or bar nearby. There is a mini market where you can get the essentials. We would book the house again.

Ein tlles Haus mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer und Imperia. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist typisch italienisch aber nicht so dramatisch wie mancherorts beschrieben. Das Haus ist sauber, die Küche beinhaltet alles, was man in einem Urlaub benötigt. Wir haben unseren 2 wöchigen Aufenthalt in diesem ruhig gelegenen Haus sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief, dank gängiger Übersetzungsprogramme, prima. Beide sprechen nur Italienisch und nur bruchstückhaft Englisch. Wir würden unseren Urlaub auch sehr gerne wieder im September 2025 in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbringen, aber bei einer Preissteigerung von fast 20 Prozent im selben Zeitraum ist dies nicht mehr erschwinglich für uns. The approach to the house is typically Italian but not as dramatic as described in some places. The house is clean, the kitchen has everything you need on holiday. We really enjoyed our 2-week stay in this quietly located house. Communication with the landlords was great, thanks to common translation programs. Both speak only Italian and only a little English. We would love to spend our holiday in this wonderful house again in September 2025, but with a price increase of almost 20 percent in the same period, this is no longer affordable for us.
