Antiek boerenhuis met bijgebouw gelegen midden op een beroemd wijndomein waar wijn en olijfolie geproduceerd worden. Het huis is recentelijk zeer smaakvol gerestaureerd en onderverdeeld in 6 comfortabele appartementen die landelijk zijn ingericht met tevens enige antieke stukken. De ligging, tussen wijn- en olijfboomgaarden, is rustig en hoog boven de Chianti heuvels. Vanaf het huis heeft men een schitterend panoramisch uitzicht tot aan de stad Siena en er is een grote zeer verzorgde tuin (6000 m2) met zwembad (overloop-effect) voor gemeenschappelijk gebruik van de gasten van de zes appartementen.

Vier aangename appartementen in een landhuis dat gebouwd werd om te dienen als uitkijktoren tijdens de oorlogen tussen de Republieken van Florence en Siena, heden dependance van een villa uit de 16de eeuw (bewoond door de eigenaar). Rustig gelegen in het centrum van een boerenbedrijf van 12 hectaren waar wijn en olijfolie geproduceerd worden en op slechts 350 meter van een karakteristiek dorpje (met bushalte naar Florence dat in 20 minuten bereikbaar is). Mooi uitzicht over het landschap. Elk appartement heeft een grote eigen zitplaats buiten en er is een mooi omheind gemeenschappelijk zwembad dat hoog gelegen is tussen de olijfbomen (op 85 mt van het huis). Op aanvraag is het mogelijk de tuin van de villa te bezichtigen, met antieke communicerende bassins die water ontvangen middels een natuurlijke bron en antieke citroenbomen. For generations the Lepri family has handed down the mill from father to son, and since the early 1900's it has been a very important reference point for the local farming community. On the ground floor of the villa you can still fill your eyes admiring the ancient stone millstones which produced the flour used to prepare the famous Tuscan bread. A true piece of Tuscan history!
The two double bedrooms and three bathrooms make this villa particularly suitable for families with children and couples of friends. Your small size four-legged friends are also welcome (extra charge could be required).
The villa is located on the edge of a green valley, in a position easily accessible but at the same time quiet and peaceful. Arezzo, with its fancy shops and every kind of service, is only 12 km away and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
The villa has a private swimming pool (size 10x4 m., depth 1,40 m. - open from 01st May to 30th September), fenced and totally safe for children.
It will be very pleasant to spend the cool summer evenings in the equipped gazebo in the garden, next to the kitchen on the ground floor. Family dinners, in front of a glass of good local red wine, barbecues and aperitifs in full relaxation.

Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.
All around the house you will find a large, fully fenced garden equipped with children's games, a table tennis table, barbecue and tables and chairs for your outdoor meals. The beautiful round swimming pool (dimensions 13 x 8 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) with water geyser, infinity edge with waterfall and 3-seater whirlpool bath will be at your disposal during the whole year. Near the pool there are two gazebos furnished with relaxing armchairs, table, deckchairs and sun loungers for your days of rest in the company of your favourite book. Some outdoor spaces and the swimming pool are in common use with the owners.
At Sant'Ippolito you will find well-kept furnishings and the many facilities inside the house (air conditioning, satellite TV, barbecue, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, mosquito nets, alarm system and Wi-Fi connection) will guarantee a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Today the villa is part of a farm that includes vineyards, cereal crops, farmyard animals and beautiful horses. About 1 km away, at the owners' residence, you will be able to enjoy the organic produce from their vegetable garden free of charge. Country House Lo Spigo is a traditional Tuscan country house, located 405 m above sea level, converted from an authentic 19th century barn. It was acquired and completely renovated by the current owner who, while respecting the structure with its original window ventilation grilles and wooden ceiling beams, has modified it, transforming it into a welcoming country house with beautiful oak floors, air conditioning, comfortable bedrooms and well-equipped living areas. Embellishing the house is the beautiful surrounding garden, where the unmistakable Chianti hills, dotted with old borghi and expanses of vines, frame the wonderful patio which, in front of the house, contains the fully-equipped pergola and the swimming pool, surrounded by greenery and olive trees and mellowed by the scent of lavender bushes. Located just outside the medieval borghi of Barberino Tavarnelle and San Donato in Poggio, the property enjoys a strategic position: by taking the scenic Chiantigiana road, a true panoramic link that connects Siena (about 40 km) to Florence (about 30 km), you can make daily excursions to visit the renowned towns of Radda, Gaiole, Greve and Panzano, rich in art treasures, churches and Renaissance villas perched on panoramic hills, or go a little further to discover the charm of San Gimignano, Volterra or Montalcino.
Interior:
Country House Lo Spigo lies on sloping terrain that allows outside access from the two floors of which it is composed. On the ground floor is the main entrance that leads into the living room with kitchen and dining area; from here a few steps lead up to a double bedroom (with joinable beds). Downstairs is the living room with satellite TV, a double bedroom with French windows leading out to the garden and ensuite bathroom with shower, and a bathroom with shower with anteroom used as a small laundry with washing machine.
Park:
The house is surrounded by about 1200 sq m of terrain mainly planted with olive trees. The usable garden area extends over two levels for an area of about 700 sq m of lawn, lavender and rosemary bushes, lemon and fruit trees. In front of the entrance to the house, across a paved patio, you come to the beautiful jasmine-covered pergola furnished with a seating area, dining table and barbecue and with, on the side, the solarium and swimming pool. A flight of steps from the patio leads down to the lower lawn area. In front of the house is a parking area. The property is accessed through a remote-controlled gate shared with another property located about 150 m further on. Although not fenced, the house lies within a quiet secluded area thanks to the trees that surround it.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool, set in the green panoramic part of the garden at the side of the house, is located on the same level as it, a few metres away. Measuring 6 x 3.25 m with a constant depth of 1.60 m, it is lined in walnut-coloured travertine and has salt purification, steps for access to the water on one of the short sides and an internal spotlight. Sunbeds, low tables, an umbrella and a portable, cold-water shower are set out on the beautiful paving that surrounds the pool equipped with an isothermal bubble cover (to preserve the water temperature in the cooler months). The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

La Capannina is an attractive little house built entirely of stone and situated below the town of Cortona, an internationally famous Etruscan jewel standing on a hill overlooking the Val di Chiana in the province of Arezzo, a lush and fertile land extending to Siena and the neighbouring region of Umbria, dotted with olive groves and vineyards and known for its culinary excellence. Once an outbuilding of the nearby farmhouse in use as a barn and stable for animals, it has been reborn in the sign of a meticulous total renovation, with cosy and intimate interiors: a spacious and functional living area facing the veranda and a lovely bedroom with Provencal décor -inspired and seductive hydro-massage bathtub in view (with chromo therapy and aroma therapy) to ensure moments of pure relaxation. Located in a residential area in a beautiful panoramic position overlooking Cortona, its excellent geographical position permits short trips to interesting nearby places in Tuscany and Umbria. Art cities like Siena, Florence and Perugia are within easy reach thanks to an efficient road and rail system. A short distance away are also the beautiful and picturesque localities of Montepulciano, the Val d'Orcia with the medieval areas of Montalcino, Pienza with its picturesque landscapes framed by rows of cypress trees, or Chianti, the famous wine route dotted with castles and monuments:a true open air museum where the protagonists are nature and culture. The house is located approximately 15 metres from that of the owners who can be a useful point of reference for guests to whom, however, complete privacy is guaranteed.
Interior:
The house has two floors. The entrance on the ground floor leads directly into the living area with lounge, dining area and full equipped kitchen forming a single open space, connected by a French window to the veranda with the outdoor dining and seating area. The floor is completed by a bathroom with shower and laundry area, a double bedroom with king size bed and amazing hydro-massage bathtub in view (equipped with aroma and chromo therapy), served by a bathroom with hydro-massage shower with chromo therapy and radio. The French door in the bedroom opens to a small outdoor sitting area with two chairs and a table. A wooden staircase leads up to the first floor composed of a double bedroom with en suite toilet.
Park:
The property covers about 7500 square meters (part of what set up as orchard and vegetable garden at the back of the house). The park surrounding the house is completely fenced in for about 2500 square meters. Just past the entrance gate is a shady pine wood; tall trees of the typical Tuscan vegetation such as cypress, mulberry and olive trees fill the garden which is embellished with a rich assortment of herbs and colourful, fragrant flowers. Outside the French window of the kitchen is a spacious veranda with seating and dining area and a brickwork barbecue where guests can enjoy alfresco meals whilst admiring the beautiful panorama.

Swimming Pool:
The pool is situated in the inner part of the garden and is fenced in on two sides by a chain-link fence and laurel hedge. Situated two metres from the house and veranda, it is on a higher level and is reached by stone steps. The pool measures 7 x 3 m with a constant depth of 1.40 m; it is lined with mosaic tiles and has a ladder for access to the water. The purification plant is chlorine and the pool is illuminated both inside and outside. The 150 metre square solarium area has sandstone paving around the pool while the rest is planted with lawn. Equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrella and a gazebo in iron with seating area, it is the perfect place for relaxing on sunny days:in the background is the beautiful view of the town of Cortona. The pool is equipped with a solar outdoor shower and is open from the first Saturday of April to the last Saturday in October.

The first time it may seem a little challenging, but as soon as you arrive at your destination you will be rewarded with absolute peace, stunning views, unspoilt spaces and unforgettable sunsets. The place is your paradise if you are a nature lover, surrounded by cool green forests and inhabited by local wildlife. It is not difficult, on summer evenings, to come across friendly hares, porcupines, roe deer or fallow deer.
The small hamlet has a beautiful panoramic swimming pool (10x5 mt, depth 1.20-1.60 mt - open from 17 May to 27 September) completely fenced and with a Roman steps, which is about 100 metres from your house and in common use with the other guests. In the solarium you will have your own private area with 4 sun beds and a sun umbrella, where you can spend your lazy days by the pool. The house also has a private, shaded area with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals in the peace of the cobbled alley.
The house is equipped with all the necessary comforts, furnished in rustic style, reminiscent of the rural homes of our grandparents, the beamed ceilings (the size of some of the doors are quite small), the terracotta floors, the old marble sink... we can assure you that spending your holiday here will be a real plunge into the past!
The little house, in our opinion, is ideal for couples, even with children; if you wish to get away from it all, it will become your favourite place, you will only be disturbed by birdsong, and in the morning you will wake up to a wonderful view to greet you. At Casa nel Borgo quiet, tranquillity and the slow, lazy flow of the days will be the watchwords of your holiday. The nearest shops are in Castiglion Fiorentino, about 15 km away. And about 9 km away, in the lttle village of Santa Cristina, you will find a small grocery shop and a Tuscan restaurant.
