The villa was incredibly beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time and couldn't have wished for a better experience. The villa is set high in the surrounding hills of Lucca with tremendous views. The grounds were immaculately maintained and full of interesting places for our children to explore. The pool was large and perfect for children with a shallow end and a standing ledge that extended around the entire perimeter of the pool.
Excellent for family as well as a group of friends. Fantastic location, easy acces to Tuscany's icons, like Florence or Siena. Very nice, fully equiped house, grat garden, fantastic swimmingpool.
We had a very, very good week here. Basic and beautiful house, with a good pool and a splendid view.
We were welcomed by the friendly owner who showed us to the house, as it is very secluded. Perfect !
The Villa is set on a hill, in a quiet street and on a large block. The views of Montepulciano town from both inside and outside are stunning. The pool was great for relaxing in the heat of the day and there are numerous options for dining outdoors. It is approximately a 25 minute walk from the villa to the entrance of the town. This was fine for us, we did this every day, but may be a stretch for some. The host Alessandro was very accomodative and was available if there were any issues. WIFI was slow and could do with improving and ceiling fans in the bedrooms would also be beneficial. All in all, a lovely place that really meets the "tuscan villa" experience.
