Beschrijving van de accommodatie
Het vakantiehuis "I Prati di Travale" ligt in het hart van het Toscaanse platteland in Montieri, Italië. Dit vrijstaande huis met 2 verdiepingen is gelegen op een natuurlijk terrein van 3.000 vierkante meter, omgeven door weelderige bomen, glooiende weiden en open velden. Het pand bestaat uit 4 appartementen en biedt een ideaal toevluchtsoord voor wie rust en ruimte zoekt. De royale tuin biedt volop gelegenheid om te ontspannen en contact te maken met het omringende landschap.
Buitenruimtes
Het zwembad meet 12 x 6 meter en is beschikbaar van 15 mei tot 15 september, dagelijks geopend van 09:00 tot 20:00 uur. Het zwembad wordt bereikt via een externe trap en ligt in een serene omgeving van bomen en weiden. Een buitendouche bevindt zich in de buurt van het zwembad; het onderhoud wordt regelmatig uitgevoerd door de eigenaar en tuinman. Een patio completeert het buitenaanbod en biedt een comfortabele ruimte voor ontspanning of dineren in de open lucht.
Praktische informatie
Het vakantiehuis beschikt over 4 appartementen verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen. Een gedeelde wasmachine staat ter beschikking van gasten; parkeerplaatsen bevinden zich ter plaatse. De toegangsweg naar het pand is ongeveer 400 meter lang en heeft een onregelmatig oppervlak; gasten wordt aangeraden voorzichtig te rijden bij aankomst. De prijzen zijn inclusief beperkt elektriciteitsverbruik. In de buurt zijn dieren aanwezig. Wi-Fi is beschikbaar. Het pand ligt op slechts 1 km van het centrum van Travale, een klein dorp in Toscane.
Afstanden en bezienswaardigheden
Het dorp Montieri ligt op 6 km; de historische stad Siena en de zee bevinden zich beide op ongeveer 45 km van het pand. Een winkel en supermarkt zijn bereikbaar binnen 6 km. Een rijstallen bevindt zich op slechts 5 km van het huis. Fietsverhuur is beschikbaar in de buurt en e-bikeverhuur op 5 km van het pand; het omringende gebied biedt uitstekende mogelijkheden voor wandelen, fietsen en mountainbiken langs daarvoor bestemde paden. Het Cornate e Fosini Park ligt op 12 km; het Accesa badmeer, een bekende natuurlijke bestemming, is bereikbaar op 19 km. The Pieve di Sant'Ippolito is a small outbuilding in the heart of the Crete Senesi. You will find it on the outskirts of the village of Asciano, in a panoramic and sunny position. The property is composed of the manor house where the owners' family lives, an annexe and the very ancient Church of "Sant'Ippolito e Cassiano", whose origins date back to the 3rd-4th century AD. Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.
All around the house you will find a large, fully fenced garden equipped with children's games, a table tennis table, barbecue and tables and chairs for your outdoor meals. The beautiful round swimming pool (dimensions 13 x 8 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) with water geyser, infinity edge with waterfall and 3-seater whirlpool bath will be at your disposal during the whole year. Near the pool there are two gazebos furnished with relaxing armchairs, table, deckchairs and sun loungers for your days of rest in the company of your favourite book. Some outdoor spaces and the swimming pool are in common use with the owners.
At Sant'Ippolito you will find well-kept furnishings and the many facilities inside the house (air conditioning, satellite TV, barbecue, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, mosquito nets, alarm system and Wi-Fi connection) will guarantee a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

The owners themselves, Luca and Patrizia, in addition to excellent organic extra virgin olive oil, wine and other fine goods, also produce a natural food supplement based on olive leaf extract.
The villa is a combination of old, modern and hospitality: stylish furnishings and all the necessary comforts and facilities. In the cool pergola, in front of the kitchen, equipped with wooden furniture and barbecue, you can relax and dine al fresco. In the wide garden you can spend your leisure days thanks to the beautiful private swimming pool (size mt. 6x12, depth mt. 1.20-1.80 - open from 01st April to 30th September), with comfortable wooden sunbeds, table tennis and games for children. In the surrounding area there are many paths suitable for cycling or trekking, with children as well, in the wonderful Tuscan landscape.

La Quiete is a very old farmhouse that preserves intact the characteristics of the rural architecture. The villa is lovingly preserved by its owners, and if you are lucky enough to stay here, its wooden ceilings, ancient brick arches, Tuscan terracotta floors and elegant furnishings will welcome you into a very special charm, made of old, simple and essential things. At La Quiete you will feel at home, in a warm and cosy atmosphere.
The villa is located at the foot of the first wooded hills, which mark the border between Valdichiana and Valdarno, from here you can make even daily excursions, towards the two valleys, dotted with small villages nestled in the Tuscan countryside. In Monte San Savino, which is just a few kilometres away, it will be pleasant to spend evenings out, dining in typical restaurants or enjoying an aperitif sitting at tables in the colourful cobbled streets.
From the windows of the villa you can admire the imposing Castello di Civitella with its characteristic 'Torre Spaccata'. We absolutely recommend a visit to this small village, a real jewel of the Valdichiana, with its ancient cistern, panoramic square and medieval buildings.
La Quiete, in our opinion, is perfectly suited for your holidays with children, or in the company of large groups of friends. Around the house you will find a large green area equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue, table tennis, table football, children's games, volleyball court and five-a-side football pitch. A splendid swimming pool (size 6x12 m, depth 1.10-2.00 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) will brighten your summer days, and the large furnished portico outside will be the setting for your breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the open air.
