Beschrijving van de accommodatie
La Dama is een vrijstaand landelijk huis, gelegen tussen bomen en open landschap op 700 meter hoogte in het hart van Italië, in de omgeving van Città Di Castello. Het ligt ongeveer 20 km van het centrum van Cortona en biedt een rustig en afgelegen verblijf voor wie op zoek is naar tranquilliteit en natuurlijke schoonheid. Het huis beschikt over een privétuin van 1.400 vierkante meter met ruim buitenruimte.
Buitenruimtes
De privétuin van 1.400 vierkante meter is omgeven door bomen en open velden die de landelijke charme en afzondering versterken. Het zwembad meet 5 x 10 meter met een diepte van 120 tot 150 cm en is beschikbaar van 1 mei tot 15 oktober. Een buitendouche bevindt zich in de buurt van het zwembad. Een terras is voorzien van tuinmeubilair en nodigt uit tot buitendinen en ontspanning. Een barbecue is beschikbaar voor gasten die buiten willen koken. Een speelplaats voor kinderen maakt de tuin een gastvrije omgeving voor gezinnen.
Praktische informatie
Het tapwater voldoet niet aan drinkwaterkwaliteitsnormen; het is raadzaam bottled water te gebruiken voor drinkdoeleinden. Wi-Fi is beschikbaar in het hele huis. Er is overdekte parkeerplaats ter plaatse. De toegang tot het huis vergt het rijden van 1,6 km over een onverharde weg; een auto wordt sterk aanbevolen voor het verblijf. Het huis is niet geschikt voor jeugdgroepen.
Afstanden en bezienswaardigheden
Een restaurant bevindt zich op 2 km van het huis. Een supermarkt ligt op 18 km. Het treinstation Camucia is gelegen op 25 km. Het meer Trasimeno is bereikbaar op ongeveer 35 km en biedt mogelijkheden voor zwemmen en recreatie aan het water. Beschrijving
Deze middeleeuwse boerderij staat in het hart van de Crete Sienese nabij het middeleeuwse dorpje Asciano. Dit gebied dat zich ten zuid oosten van Siena uitstrekt is wellicht het meest ongerepte stukje van Toscane. De Crete (klei) Sienese kenmerkt zich als een maanlandschap van kale, opeenvolgende klei heuvels met fascinerende uitzichten. Iets meer naar het zuiden worden glooiende, gouden heuvels bedekt met granen weer afgewisseld door wijn/olijfgaarden en bossen.
Agriturismo Il Molinello is van oorsprong een oude molen die dateert uit de middeleeuwen. Deze omgeving is bekend om de winning van travertin (kalksteen) dat in de tijd van de Etrusken al werd gebruikt voor de bouw van graven. Een van deze Etruskische graven bevindt zich bij het landgoed en kan op verzoek worden bezocht.
Agriturismo Il Molinello is een biologisch landbouw bedrijf dat groente, fruit, olijfolie en truffels produceert. Het is een echt familie bedrijf dat gerund wordt door het jonge echtpaar Elisa en Alessandro en hun ouders die allen in het grote landhuis wonen. In totaal zijn er 5 vakantie appartementen; 2 in het grote landhuis en 3 in de cottage op he landgoed. Alle appartementen zijn gerenoveerd en hebben een Toscaanse inrichting.
Het landgoed heeft een grote tuin met zwembad en een aantal speeltoestellen voor jonge kinderen. Er is veel ruimte voor kinderen om te spelen/rennen en tevens zijn er volop zitmogelijkheden voor de gasten in de tuin. De eigenaars hebben 2 lieve honden (labrador) en en gasten mogen ook hun hond meebrengen (vooraf aangeven).
Deze mooie omgeving leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van fietstochten. Alessandro, zelf een fietsliefhebber organiseert op verzoek fietstochten.
In het wijnproeflokaal van de boerderij wordt er voor de gasten ook wijnproeverijen georganiseerd (afhankelijk van het seizoen). Alessandro die sommalier is kan u alles vertellen over de verschillende lokale wijnen. Op verzoek worden er ook wijntours georganiseerd.

The Pieve di Sant'Ippolito is a small outbuilding in the heart of the Crete Senesi. You will find it on the outskirts of the village of Asciano, in a panoramic and sunny position. The property is composed of the manor house where the owners' family lives, an annexe and the very ancient Church of "Sant'Ippolito e Cassiano", whose origins date back to the 3rd-4th century AD. Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.
All around the house you will find a large, fully fenced garden equipped with children's games, a table tennis table, barbecue and tables and chairs for your outdoor meals. The beautiful round swimming pool (dimensions 13 x 8 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) with water geyser, infinity edge with waterfall and 3-seater whirlpool bath will be at your disposal during the whole year. Near the pool there are two gazebos furnished with relaxing armchairs, table, deckchairs and sun loungers for your days of rest in the company of your favourite book. Olivo is a characteristic and very old farmhouse that you will find almost hidden among the silver foliage of the olive trees that cover the hillside, giving the villa an atmosphere and peace of times gone by. In Arezzo, to which we advise you to dedicate at least one day, you will find a marvellous historic centre, made up of cobbled alleyways and ancient buildings, some of which date back to the Medieval period, as well as designer shops and typical restaurants and cafés, where you can spend an afternoon or a lazy summer evening. Just 4 km away is also the Arezzo Equestrian Centre where internationally renowned equestrian events are held throughout the year.
The beautiful panoramic swimming pool (size 5x10 m, depth 0.90-1.80 m - open from 10 May to 30th September) was built on a large green terrace, just a few metres from the house. In the completely enclosed garden, your children can play freely in absolute tranquillity in the shade of the olive trees and century-old trees, while you, by the side of the pool, can enjoy the sun while admiring the fantastic panorama of the valley below. For the little ones' playtime there is also a playhouse in a tree.
At the back of the house you will have at your disposal, for dinners or lunches in the open air, a comfortable equipped area, wood-burning oven and barbecue, where you can enjoy your meals in company.

Today the villa is part of a farm that includes vineyards, cereal crops, farmyard animals and beautiful horses. About 1 km away, at the owners' residence, you will be able to enjoy the organic produce from their vegetable garden free of charge. Their paddocks, should you travel with your horses, will be at your disposal (service available for a fee).

Usciano is an ancient village of medieval origin, located a few kilometres from the city of Arezzo. It is located on a panoramic position, perched on a high hill, surrounded by olive groves and green woods of oak and holm-oak. The stone farmhouse and its two small houses date back to 1851, when the small village was inhabited by woodcutters, farmers and chestnut growers, the atmosphere alone will immediately take you back to those times.
The hamlet has been restored preserving its original features and using ancient materials such as terracotta, stone and old wooden beams. Even the furniture, functional and comfortable, has been chosen in respect of rural traditions.
Borgo di Usciano can be reached by an unpaved road through the woods of about 1.5 km, which is well maintained and suitable for all types of cars.
Only 2.5 km away is the village of Palazzo del Pero where you will find a couple of restaurants and some shops.
Only 9 km away is the city of Arezzo and its monuments, shops for shopping enthusiasts, supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of services. But we also recommend that you spend wonderful days discovering the old town centre, its narrow streets and the works of art by Piero della Francesca, Cimabue and Vasari, scattered throughout the city.
The outdoor area of Borgo di Usciano is divided into various panoramic terraces, and you'll be spoilt for choice whether to relax in the solarium by the beautiful infinity pool (size 7x14 m, depth 1-1.60 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), in the shade of a cool tree in the lower part of the garden, or climb the hill with a 360° panorama and a good book to keep you company.

If you decide to spend your holiday at Villa Leopoldina, you can stay in a historic building, a splendid example of a typical Tuscan house designed in the 18th century by the architects of Grand Duke Leopold of Lorraine, with the characteristic four overlapping arches on the façade.
