Lake Trasimeno is the longest lake in Mainland Italy and the fourth largest in the country. It has three islands, Isola Maggiore, Isola Minore and Isola Polvese, which can be reached by ferry from the main towns and villages around the lake. In the small village of San Feliciano, walking along the lake you can visit the Fisherman's Cooperative, where every morning you can see the different varieties of freshwater fish caught by the fishermen on their return to the village.
