We will go back as soon as we can. It was everything (and more) that we thought it would be. Clean and very comfortable for a party of 10. Rural setting within walking distance of bakery, grocery,post office and bank. Outside eating area was perfect for big, italian family style meals. Next to a city park, nice restaurants in Radicondoli. Yet quiet hilltop location.

Thanks for your e mail.  It is very good to see that you follow up so well.  I am a hotel manager and appreciate such efforts - it is sadly not normal these days!!
 
The apartment was great and the standards of cleanliness were very good.  The views were stunning from the property.
 
To improve a holiday I would say that the objective of going to Tuscanny is more to be left alone rather than have commercialisation in the face.  However - my only criticism was the lack of promotion and opportunity to visit the cellars.  I was looking forward to seeing what was there and wanted to be told about the history and wine from the vineyards.
 
On 2 or 3 occasions I tried to get a visit, but there was no-one available to show us round on each occasion - so I gave up!!  (I don't look for hasssle on holiday)!  I found that the person who 'worked' in the shop was ok - she let us taste the wine - although I would say she was not at all enthusiastic, shame - as it is an easy sell and a great product),  we did end up buying some wine.  The missed opportunity for me was that I would have enjoyed seeing the cellars and so on - the missed opportunity for you is that - I would porobably have raved about it - told all my friends, and even sourced a supplier and put the wine onto my wine list!  Best form of advertising is word of mouth and the Villa has a seriously undersold USP.
 
The hotel I manage is the George Hotel in Edinburgh - 195 bedrooms / 2 restaurants etc - so this is a missed oppotunity.  However I would not want to detract from what was a great holiday in a wonderful Villa with good staff.  I would like to compliment Marie who seemed to work all day, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Our trip to Tuscany was everything we had hoped for. My family of 4 stayed
in 'Chiarra', at Villa Vistarenni, which was very spacious, considering my
husband and 2 adolescent boys are over 6' 6".

We had relatives from Scotland staying on the 3rd floor of the main
building, but they spent most of the time with us in Chiarra, as it was so
spacious and had a private area out the back for BBQ's.

Tuscany is a wonderful part of the world, relaxing, tranquil and a perfect
view at every turn. The local villages were a treat to visit. Booking a
holiday on the internet is always a little scary but in our case it all
worked very well.

I think the only thing I would like to mention would be more information is
required in the "Information booklet' found in the cottage, particularly
about the local area, where the shops are eg. Supermarkets, times that shops
close, emergency numbers, local doctor, police, ambulance and a phone number
for a contact person.

Tuscany was certainly the highlight of our trip from Australia.

One of the highlights of our Italian sojourn was the Villa La Chiusa! Not
only was the property beautiful, the Favers went out of their way for us.

We had to go to the hospital (our son had "pink eye"......conjunctivitis)
and Andrea and Pino Faver acted as interpreters for us at the hospital as
our hospital Italian was terrible! This was only one example.

The location is terrific - easy access to Pisa, Barga, Carrera, Collodi, and
Firenze. One thing I would change on the website is the directions to get
there. We could not find the "Trattoria da Maria" even after driving past
it 8 times. At that point, the address got us there.

We stayed in the Orfeo unit. The decor was lovely, well-appointed and clean,
the scenery beautiful and the profusion of beautiful flowers they had
planted were gorgeous. The selection of English paperbacks as well as maps
and travel guides of the area were appreciated, and the Favers were
continually improving the place (they put in a barbecue the week we were
there). The pool was kept very clean and the pool area was lovely.

It is a fantastic place and I would highly recommend it!

It was wonderful.  the house was more then we had hoped for and the setting was perfect for us.  Our landlords were extremely thoughtful.  They met us be the Autostrada so we wouldn't get lost, provided us with extras.  It made our trip just about perfect.  I will certainly recommend this to my friends.

Our group had a wonderful time in Tuscany. The villa was set up perfectly for our group (3 couples and 4 children). We cooked nearly every evening meal at home and especially enjoyed the outside eating areas. We did feel that the kitchen could use a few better quality pans (especially large pots for pasta and sauces). I don't think the information at the villa included the location of the nearest Super Market (Coop) and that would have been useful since we were buying large quantities of food for our group.

The information provided regarding nearby activities was sufficient. Also, Alaria (the young woman who came to the villa each day) was able to answer any questions we had about how to navigate in the area. It would be helpful to include in the welcoming information the location of the pay phone in Radicondoli.

The location was perfect to explore all the hill towns in the area. We explored many towns from Volterra to Montepulciano.

It has been awhile since I have visited the website and completed the booking but as I remember, the process was very easy and customer friendly.

We would most certainly recommend this villa to our friends. We have many photos to show the beauty of the home and its location.

I'm sure our travels will bring us back to beautiful Italy in the future and we would definitely use your service again. It was a wonderful trip that left all of us with many special memories.

I just wanted to let you know that we had the most fantastic time at La Selva. The villa itself was beautiful, as was the surrounding countryside. The weather couldn't have been better, I could go on.

Paulo & Francesca couldn't have been more welcoming, even baking us some traditional tuscan bread in their newly built, wood fired oven on our arrival.

I'm not sure if you knew, but we actually came to Tuscany to get married (we actually wed in Siena), and I have to say that the whole experience was one of the most amazing I have ever had, and I know everyone who came along with us feels the same - the villa played no small part in that, so I don't think La Selva or Tuscany could be improved upon!!

The only thing I could otherwise say, & this may have been me misreading e-mails, is that I was slightly unsure of how the final instalment was to be paid, and to whom. But this is such a minor thing in what otherwise couldn't have been more perfect, I'm almost embarrassed to mention it.

It just remains for me to say thank you for introducing us to La Selva, and providing such a comprehensive website.

Francesco and Marina were excellent hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. Marina's Italian duck was superb and we enjoyed their family. Francesco's wine was very good too. I would recommend their property to anyone who was going to Italy and wants to stay in Villas. Thank you Francesco and Marina.

The tuscany villa website and service I found to be very helpful. It was easy and convenient to pay for the villa through the website. There are a large number of villas on your website, but the search engine and criteria helped to filter through them all.

The property and owners were excellent. The property was clean and well taken care of. The owners were very friendly and very helpful. They even drove us into town when we needed a ride. Overall an excellent villa, and we will recommend it to our friends and are considering going back for a future anniversary.
