The villa was in the most beautiful location overlooking the ancient town of Monterchi. It was just covered with flowers and fruit trees and had all of the comforts of home.
Mr. Rosadi was by every day to check on us and made our visit so very special. He was a delight to work with even before we arrived, helping us set up tours and answering all of our questions.
Hele mooie villa in prachtige omgeving. Prima voor een rustige vakantie. Mooi ingerichte ruime kamers.
Wel 4km vanaf stadje Radda dus alleen met auto te bereiken.

Wij hebben een waanzinnig mooie week gehad in dit schattige huisje. De ligging op 800 meter in de bergen met vrij uitzicht over het Toscaanse landschap is uniek! Cortona ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden.
Het zwembad is heerlijk en je krijgt volledige privacy van de (erg aardige) bewoners van het landgoed.
Het huisje is schoon, alles is aanwezig. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug en kunnen dit iedereen aanraden!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had an awesome week in this lovely cottage. The location is at 800 meters in the mountains with views over the Tuscan landscape, unique! Cortona is about 10 minutes drive. The pool is lovely and you get complete privacy from the (very nice) residents of the estate. The cottage is clean, everything is there. We will definitely come back here and can recommend it to anyone!
Our family of seven with children ranging in age from 9-22 stayed at Casa di Vignolo while touring Tuscany. It was everything we hoped and more. This ancient and awesome house was roomy enough for our large family and the town with its bakery, butcher, market and fruit store was so convenient and fun to shop. Pergine is a very convenient base from which to explore Tuscany. We hope to make a return trip and we highly recommend this property.
Very good value for the price. Special apartment, 1m wide stone walls, cannot get hot even during summer. Spacious, 2 bathrooms. The jacuzzi is cleaned after each rent, and kept hygenic.
Keep in mind that it's partly sous-terrain! When there's no Sun, it's darkish.
Only 2 stoves in the kitchen, so no big cooking.
You'll find basic ingredients in the kitchen, left by previous renters.
Small shops, cafeteria, restaurant and pharmacy are within 2 minutes walking distance.
Neighbours can be noisy in the evenings - get used to the italian lifestyle! :-)
Borgo Elena is a lovely villa set high up in the hills above Camucia. We stayed in Apartment 6 which was spacious with amazing views from the bedrooms and sitting room. There is a terrace from the kitchen which was reasonably secluded (the only completely private outdoor space is with Apartment 3). We viewed all the other apartments on the last day which are all beautifully furnished with lots of character. The pool is a good size, good depth for children and regularly cleaned. It also has plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas providing essential shade. Again, the views from the pool are spectacular. The owner, Elena, was exceptionally helpful and always at hand. She provided us with a bottle of her own wine on arrival and, at a small cost, we were able to top up our supplies of both wine olive oil (again made by Elena's family) during our stay (great presents too!) She and her father, Mario, were also very sweet with our 5 year old son who ended up not wanting to leave! There are no local amenities within walking distance but Camucia (with 2 supermarkets) is only a 5 minute drive down the hill and the pretty town of Cortona, 5 more minutes further on. We would highly recommend Borgo Elena.
A location with style in an old mansion or castle. Very impressive and the apartment was spacious enough with everything as it should be. Only drawback was the checking in at only 5 pm and when we arrived half an hour early we still had to wait (other places were a little more flexible).
A very pleasant stay.
The Galleria appartment is huge, there is really no way to prepare yourself for the size of the living room/ball room. It occupies an entire wing of the castle. The team on site were very nice and accommodating. The castle is old and needs some more TLC . You can really tell the building is very very old. However the facilities are nice. Getting in there the only thing missing was the butler.... With an apartment this big you need one. The living room is 24 meters from one end to the other. Add 10-11m more before you hit the front door. No AC - but fans do the trick to keep you cool at night.
