We stayed here in June 2018. Had an absolutely amazing time. The apartment was charming and comfortable, with everything you could need for a short stay. The grounds are breathtaking, with lush green hills all around and a lovely pool with amazing views. The pictures on the listing don't do this place justice. From this location you can make day trips to places like Pisa, Luca, Livorno, San Gimignano, and even Cique Terre. Nicoletta, Sonia and Guillermo were a pleasure to meet! All around great spot. Highly recommended.
Excellent outside space with wonderful terrace overlooking the pool and beautiful surrounding countryside. Good quality games area. Kitchen is small but well equipped - we ate every meal on the terrace admiring the view. There were only two of us but the property could easily accommodate 4 - 6 people. We loved our holiday at Le Pergole and would definitely like to return. Volterra is a lovely small town with some great places to eat and only five minutes away.
This villa was absolutely wonderful...spotless clean and very comfortable. The views of Tuscany were postcard perfect and we had all the amenities we needed. It was also close to Cortona and Camucia. We were there for 11 days and would highly recommend this property!
We had a lovely week at this well equipped, peaceful and restful villa. The views of the countryside from the pool were amazing and we were surrounded by vineyards. The gardens are lovely and full of roses and herbs. There are several sitting/sunbathing areas allowing everyone space and peace . The pool was lovely and large. The owners live in the adjacent property and were very helpful arranging wine tastings and an excellent afternoon cooking a fabulous meal with Simona. There is a very well equipped supermarket 2 km away with an excellent fish counter. Rail connections at the nearby town proved very useful. We all had an excellent time. A perfect Tuscan retreat.

Beautiful apartment with fantastic sea views, airconditioning in the room and loft (bedroom). Parking on premise : space 121. Large terrace with table, chairs, umbrella and 2 sunbeds. Very nice and helpful keyholder. A location to go back, despite the high rent and extra costs for the swimming pool (only if used) and the sunbeds on the beach (only if used).
Très vaste villa. Nous étions 16 (8 couples ) et nous n'étions pas serrés. Chacun avait sa chambre et sa propre salle de bain. Il manquait simplement de quoi faire sécher le linge de toute la tribu . Simplement un tancarville.
Me and my family had one of our best vacation trips ever in this beautiful house in this calm village outside Arezzo. The house (and the pool) was very clean and well decorated and the views were magnificent. The owners were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
Il Gelso Di Mario was even better than described in your visual description of this site. There were 17 of us and every one had a great time. the accommodations were super clean and large. There is a large gathering room with a full kitchen with a table that seats 20. The pool was large and very enjoyable after a day of museum wine tasting and lots of eating . The location is near perfect, easily reachable by auto or train. The Host Mario M. was gracious helpful and informative. It was easy to reach Cortona , Perugia, Florence and other surrounding locations. I would most certainly return to this villa in the future. John McLear
