This is a very special villa in a perfect location in Montalcino. The perfect location and the views from every window is simply stunning. I could not recommend this villa more. And all the staff and access to the restaurant made it even better.
Tolle Lage. Umgeben von Wald und Weinreben. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Sehr Bequeme Betten. Moderne Bäder. Gut gefüllter Schrank mit leckeren Weinen die man für einen akzeptablen Preis kaufen kann. Die Küche darf gerne mit Grundgewürzen besser ausgestatten sein. Grundstück und Haus sind sehr gepflegt. Allerdings könnte der Balkon im ersten Stock einen neuen Bodenbelag vertragen.

Englisch: Great location. Surrounded by forest and vineyards. Cosy furnishings. Very comfortable beds. Modern bathrooms. Well-stocked cupboard with delicious wines that you can buy for an acceptable price. The kitchen may be better equipped with basic spices. Land and house are very well maintained. However, the balcony on the first floor could use a new floor covering.
Very lovable and helpful property manager. Thank you Melania for your tips about restaurants and supermarkets. You can hear a gnawing sound in the beams. Is that the woodworm? We’ll be back, for sure.
Villa Maona was a wonderful place to stay--very comfortable with a bathroom for each bedroom, comfortable living room with a pool table that added some evening fun, and a spacious kitchen and lovely outdoor patio. the pool has a great view of the hills and town atop the nearby hill. A great value for the price.
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in dieser fantastischen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Es ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Fotos. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr grosszügig geschnitten und praktisch eingerichtet. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick über Vietri sul Mare und Salerno. Vietri sul Mare liegt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Vietri ist ein kleines Städtchen mit vielen Geschäften. Zum Strand benötigt man ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuss. Das Auto kann sicher in der Anlage parkiert werden. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen!!!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a wonderful time in this fantastic holiday flat. It really is as beautiful as in the photos. The flat is very spacious and practically furnished. There is a beautiful view over Vietri sul Mare and Salerno. Vietri sul Mare is about 10 minutes away on foot. Vietri is a small town with many shops. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach. The car can be safely parked in the complex. We can only recommend this flat!
My two adult daughters and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at Casina Dell'acquaborra! We had a late train ride getting in, no car, and taxis were not available. The owner very graciously offered to give us a ride from the train station to the villa and also gave us an early ride back to the station when we left. Really appreciate how accommodating he was!
The owner also arranged a cooking class with staff from his restaurant. We had so much fun! They showed us how to make traditional Tuscan dishes and altered recipes to support our vegan request. The meal was delicious! They all sat and ate with us on the balcony overlooking the rolling hills. We felt like we were being welcomed into an Italian family! Great hospitality!
The weather was warm and we were able to sunbathe around the pool. We listened to the goats tinkling their bells as they walked through the nearby pasture to graze. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. We walked into Levane and shopped at the Coop and made our own pasta dish with the sweet local tomatoes. If we'd had more time, we would have done more exploring, but as it was, we were content to soak up the atmosphere of a non-touristy area of Tuscany.
Lovely place to stay with friendly, very hospitable owners ( thank you for everything,Sabrini and family). Walking distance to train station and town ( uphill, but not far). Delicious wine available direct from the farm - a large jug was waiting for us on arrival! One of the nicest things was having a large terrace at the rear, ideal for the evening watching the sunset. Excellent apartment right in the center of town beautiful 2bedroom, 1 bath ,kitchen and 2 balcony areas to have a nice afternoon glass of wine.
The apartment is above a small convenient market next door is fresh fruit and vegetables. It is not busy or noisy area We enjoyed our stay very much there are 4 keys to get inside apartment so it’s extremely safe. Walk to everything. Just beautiful
