Here guests are welcomed into six charming units that reflect a rare and authentic form of hospitality: the Albergo diffuso—literally, a ‘scattered hotel’. Developed in Italy, this model revitalizes once-abandoned villages by blending comfort with local tradition in a truly immersive experience- in fact the "borgo" is a shared community between locals that live here permanently, and travelers that was born in the late 1980's.
Our collaboration with this placa was born to promote a network of local chefs, farmers, winemakers, guides, and hospitality professionals — all working together to create meaningful moments that we hope will make your stay one to remember.

If you decide to spend your holiday at Villa Leopoldina, you can stay in a historic building, a splendid example of a typical Tuscan house designed in the 18th century by the architects of Grand Duke Leopold of Lorraine, with the characteristic four overlapping arches on the façade. It will be a plunge into the past, when families were very numerous and these huge homes housed several generations under the same roof.
In front of the villa you will find the private garden and on the right-hand side the beautiful swimming pool (size 12x5 m, depth 1.40 m, completely enclosed - open from 01st May to 30th September). From here, every day, you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view over the city of Arezzo and its valleys, a view that becomes even more suggestive at night with the thousands of tiny lights that seem to chase each other.
