Poggio del Pero is een agriturismo gelegen in het glooiende landschap van Panicale in Umbrië, Italië. Het ligt op een heuvel omgeven door velden en wijngaarden en vormt onderdeel van een complex met 3 appartementen. De accommodatie beschikt over een goed onderhouden, omheinde tuin met diverse planten en bomen, alsmede een omheind zwembad van 12 x 6 meter dat van 1 mei tot 30 oktober beschikbaar is.
Buitenruimtes
Het zwembad meet 12 x 6 meter en is beschikbaar van 1 mei tot 30 oktober; het wordt onderhouden door de eigenaar en tuinman. Een schaduwrijke pergola biedt een comfortabele plek om samen te eten of van de frisse buitenlucht te genieten. Een barbecueplaats nodigt uit tot buitendinen. De omheinde tuin is voorzien van diverse planten en bomen die bijdragen aan de vredige sfeer van het terrein. Dekt parkeerplaatsen voor maximaal 3 auto's zijn ter plaatse beschikbaar. Het gehele natuurlijke terrein wordt gedeeld door de gasten van het complex.

De accommodatie beschikt over Wi-Fi. Binnen het complex hebben gasten toegang tot een gedeelde lounge en een tafelvoetbalruimte. Op het terrein bevindt zich een manege die paardrijlessen en begeleide excursies aanbiedt tegen meerprijs. Kookworkshops kunnen op aanvraag worden geboekt. Lokaal geproduceerde boerderijproducten zijn ter plaatse te koop. Een auto wordt aanbevolen voor verplaatsing, aangezien de toegang tot het terrein ongeveer 1 kilometer onverharde weg omvat. Afstanden en bezienswaardigheden
Panicale ligt op 3 km; het is een fraai bewaard gebleven middeleeuws dorp. Lago Trasimeno, een van de meest beroemde meren van Midden-Italië, ligt op 15 km en biedt mogelijkheden voor zwemmen, varen en eten aan het meer. Città della Pieve, een charmant stadje op een heuvel bekend om kunst en architectuur, bevindt zich op 20 km. Perugia, Chianciano Terme en Cortona liggen alle op ongeveer 35 km. San Eusebio is an independent portion of a beautiful stone farmhouse with ancient peasant origins. You will find it nestled in an extremely panoramic position on the silver olive-covered hill of S. Pietro a Cegliolo, not far from the beautiful town of Cortona.
You will instantly fall in love with Cortona. Its cobbled lanes, noble palaces, panoramic viewpoints across the Valdichiana to Lake Trasimeno, its churches and numerous monuments are all not to be missed. You will spend lazy days, strolling around while eating an ice cream, immersed in an atmosphere of ancient times. We advise you not to miss out on a few evenings in the numerous typical restaurants in the historic centre, you absolutely must try the Tuscan cuisine and the many delicacies it offers!
The owners of the house have carefully restored it with absolute respect for the old architectural features: the wooden beams, ceilings, fixtures and terracotta floors are those of yesteryear. Colours, decorations, finishing works and furnishings are perfectly in tune with the characteristics of the house, a perfect rustic style to take you back in time.

Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. La Casa nel Borgo is located in the ancient hamlet of Cantalena Alta and is now part of an almost completely restored rural complex consisting of 6 small houses, where efforts have been made to keep alive the ancient traditions and times gone by, using stone in the restoration along with original reclaimed materials.
A road that climbs through green woods and breathtaking views will lead you to La Casa nel Borgo. The first time it may seem a little challenging, but as soon as you arrive at your destination you will be rewarded with absolute peace, stunning views, unspoilt spaces and unforgettable sunsets. The place is your paradise if you are a nature lover, surrounded by cool green forests and inhabited by local wildlife. It is not difficult, on summer evenings, to come across friendly hares, porcupines, roe deer or fallow deer.
The small hamlet has a beautiful panoramic swimming pool (10x5 mt, depth 1.20-1.60 mt - open from 17 May to 27 September) completely fenced and with a Roman steps, which is about 100 metres from your house and in common use with the other guests. In the solarium you will have your own private area with 4 sun beds and a sun umbrella, where you can spend your lazy days by the pool. The house also has a private, shaded area with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals in the peace of the cobbled alley.
The house is equipped with all the necessary comforts, furnished in rustic style, reminiscent of the rural homes of our grandparents, the beamed ceilings (the size of some of the doors are quite small), the terracotta floors, the old marble sink... we can assure you that spending your holiday here will be a real plunge into the past!
The little house, in our opinion, is ideal for couples, even with children; if you wish to get away from it all, it will become your favourite place, you will only be disturbed by birdsong, and in the morning you will wake up to a wonderful view to greet you. At Casa nel Borgo quiet, tranquillity and the slow, lazy flow of the days will be the watchwords of your holiday. The nearest shops are in Castiglion Fiorentino, about 15 km away. And about 9 km away, in the lttle village of Santa Cristina, you will find a small grocery shop and a Tuscan restaurant. Podere Marcigliano consists of 2 newly built villas, which nevertheless reflect the architectural characteristics of the farmhouses of the past. La Gabola is a beautiful farmhouse consisting of an old farmhouse where the owner lives and four independent small houses for guests. It is the ideal place if you wish to spend a relaxing holiday in the midst of the Valdichiana countryside, which offers an infinity of gentle, variable landscapes, and at the same time visit Tuscany and neighbouring Umbria.
You will find the farm at the foot of the rugged hill where the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona rises majestically and will instantly win you over with its old-world atmosphere. In Cortona you can stroll around, enjoy splendid views and visit countless ancient churches, museums and works of art. Don't forget to taste the local cuisine in the typical restaurants in the centre - you won't regret it!
A skilful and careful renovation, carried out with painstaking patience directly by the owner, and a decor in authentic period furniture give the houses a very special charm. You will feel welcomed in a very homely atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the very first moment.
Apartments Sofya and Selene are located in the same building and can be especially recommended for 2 families travelling together. La Gabola, La Gabolina and La Turata, on the other hand, are individual and independent houses, perfect for those who like a little extra privacy.
