Casa Argentario stands on the Tombolo di Giannella, a thin strip of land overlooking the sea at the foot of Monte Argentario, its very fine beach stretches for seven km without interruption. The sea and the particular unspoiled nature of pine forests and maritime shrubs offer the ideal place for recreation, fun and the opportunity to practice countless sports and excursions. Elegant and renowned land of Monte Argentario offers natural shows of rare beauty, with beaches nestled between the rocks reachable on foot or by sea, and ancient fishing villages, Porto Ercole and Santo Stefano, today characteristic places for meeting and fun. From Porto Santo Stefano you can reach the Isola del Giglio and the Giannutri Marine Park by ferry. Behind the Giannella opens the enchanted landscape of the Maremma countryside full of wooded hills, olive groves, vineyards as well as picturesque historic centers including Talamone, Capalbio, Pitigliano and Saturnia.

  Geniet Van Dit Natuurwonder Op Vakantie Aan De Toscaanse Kust

Voor degenen die nadenken over het plannen van een verblijf in een van onze villa's in Toscane komende herfst voor een vakantie buiten het seizoen en die houden van natuur en natuurlijke schoonheid, is er één specifiek gebied waar veel internationale toeristen nog niet van hebben gehoord, maar dat bovenaan je lijst van attracties moet staan. Dit is de Laguna di Orbetello.

Een van de best bewaarde en meest ongerepte natuurlijke gebieden in heel Italië, bestaande uit 1500 hectare moerasland langs de Toscaanse kust dat aan de west- en oostzijde van de zee wordt gescheiden door twee stroken land van 6 km en het schiereiland Argentario. Op een derde strook land die zich uitstrekt tot in het centrum van de lagune, ligt de stad Orbetello zelf en een brug die het verbindt met Monte Argentario, wat samen een dramatisch geheel vormt.

Isola del Giglio, ofwel Giglio Eiland, is een beetje een verborgen geheim bij veel Italianen en het wordt ook wel gezien als de parel van de Tyrrheense Zee. Een exotisch paradijs dat voor 90% bedekt is met wilde Mediterrane vegetatie en maar liefst 700 botanische soorten telt en is omgeven door kristalhelder water in de tinten smaragdgroen en azuurblauw, werkelijk van een zeer indrukwekkende schoonheid. Alhoewel het terrein bergachtig is en er veel wandelroutes zijn om te genieten van de prachtige uitzichten, de kust van het eiland is het meest populair bij de toeristen. Je kunt zelf de dramatische landschappen gaan ontdekken die bestaan uit rotsige kliffen en stranden, scubaduiken om de vissen te bewonderen, de vele grotten en oude scheepswrakken, of misschien met een boot op het water dolfijnen en walvissen spotten... of gewoon lekker onderuit hangen en genieten van de zonsondergang.
