Gracieus appartement verkregen uit de restauratie van een van de torens daterend uit de 13de eeuw en gelegen binnen de muren van het Kasteel van Montegufoni. Het appartement ligt in een van de meest afgelegen gedeeltes van het kasteel en beschikt over een gedeelte van een tuin en privé toegang.
B.G.: ruime woon/eetkamer met stenen muren, kookhoek en toegang tot de tuin en een veranda met tafel en stoelen.
Enkele treden hoger: gracieuze badkamer met douche.
1° verdieping (toegang over een stenen wenteltrap of vanaf buiten): ruime slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed (airconditioning) en klein terras met prachtig uitzicht over het omliggende landschap.

July 2014. Had a wonderful time. Staff very helpful. Views fantastic. Seperate restuarant was just right & extremely helpful to small changes to the meal plus wonderful daily hand made pasta dishes. Need a car really - unless happy for pool and walks around about - but such wonderful views as you drive around pity to miss that.

Excellent experience staying in an actual castle. Beautiful location ideal for people with a car to do day trips in Tuscany (Florence, Pisa, Siena etc...). We stayed in the bastione room and the downstairs area (kitchen/living room) is perfect: nice and cool so we didn't have to use the air conditioning

We had our wedding at this castle and stayed there for a week with our guests. Valentina was superb in helping us plan the wedding from abroad and her suggestions were absolutely fabulous. Our guests simply rave about the wedding ceremony/reception and the whole event and Valentina was the one who made it all happen: she is a true professional! The castle itself is simply marvellous, full of history, very functional and the staff (including Giuseppe who makes sure everything is in working order) are very kind and helpful. This week was by far one of our best vacations ever and the wedding is recognized by all our guests as just amazing!

This was a wonderful place if you want a true Italian experience. It's not a hotel! It's quiet and quant. There are no amenities but if you want to feel the "Italian" experience, it's great. The staff is very accomadating.

La residenza "bastione" si è rivelata un luogo affascinate e suggestivo ove tornare la sera dopo aver viaggiato durante il giorno per la magnifica Toscana. Splendido il contesto del castello, ottima l'organizzazione.

We loved the Montegufoni property and the vistas overlooking the hills and vineyards was exceptional. Our room was comfortable and had beautiful views from the bedroom and the living area. The living area had a well-appointed kitchenette and a very nice patio where we enjoyed wine and cheese with friends in the evening overlooking the property and neighboring hillsides. The only negative about the Bastione room is that the bedroom, bathroom,and living area are all on different floors. There is a stone spiral staircase separating each level and you go up and down stairs alot.
