Beschrijving van de accommodatie

Dit vakantiehuis bestaat uit 2 onafhankelijke huizen gelegen in het pittoreske gehucht Camucia, op 5 km van het historische centrum van Cortona in Italië. Het pand is gebouwd in 2006 en ligt op een werkende boerderij omgeven door uitgestrekte velden, met een zonnige ligging en panoramisch uitzicht op Cortona en het glooiende Toscaanse landschap. De gasten hebben toegang tot een gedeelde tuin die bijdraagt aan het gevoel van ruimte en rust. De eigenaar woont eveneens op het terrein.

Buitenruimtes

De gedeelde tuin biedt een ruim en sereen omgeving met panoramisch uitzicht over de heuvels naar Cortona. Het omheinde zwembad meet 5 x 12 meter met een diepte van 120 tot 220 cm en is beschikbaar van 1 juni tot 30 september; een douche en WC bevinden zich in het poolgebied. Een barbecueplaats is aanwezig voor buitendinen. Elk huis beschikt over een privéterras van 15 m² en een terras, waar gasten in privacy kunnen ontspannen met uitzicht op het omringende landschap.

Praktische informatie

Het vakantiehuis beschikt over Wi-Fi. Een kok is op aanvraag beschikbaar met toeslag. Parkeerplaatsen onder dak zijn ter plaatse aanwezig; het terrein is beveiligd met elektrische poorten. Een auto wordt aanbevolen voor verplaatsing in het landelijke gebied van Camucia.

Een restaurant bevindt zich op 450 m; een supermarkt is bereikbaar op 2,6 km. Het station Camucia ligt op 2 km. Het zandstrand La Merangola en het badmeer Trasimeno liggen beide op 20 km. Castiglion Fiorentino bevindt zich op 11 km, Foiano della Chiana op 18 km, Castiglion del Lago op 19 km, Passignano sul Trasimeno op 22 km, Arezzo op 32 km en Rapolano Terme op 43 km. La maison est vraiment charmante et on s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. Elle a l’avantage d'être à la fois très privée et en même temps ouverte sur l’extérieur avec une terrasse vraiment confortable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Martina, qui a fait en sorte de nous mettre à l’aise très rapidement. Elle nous a apporté régulièrement des tomates du jardin délicieuses. La piscine est très agréable, suffisamment éloignée des habitations pour ne pas être dérangés par les enfants qui s’y amusent. Peut-être le seul point noir, c’est que le train passe tout près. On l’entend bien mais finalement il ne nous a pas dérangé plus que ça. Merci pour tout!

It has the advantage of being both very private and at the same time open to the outside with a really comfortable terrace. We were welcomed by Martina, who made us feel at ease very quickly. She regularly brought us delicious garden tomatoes. The pool is very nice, far enough away from the houses to not be disturbed by the children who have fun. Perhaps the only downside is that the train passes nearby. We hear it well but finally it did not bother us more than that. Thank you for everything!

Die Villa und die Umgebung sind sehr schön. Ein einziger Minuspunkt für die Villa gibt es, weil sie relativ dunkel ist und weil keine Klima-Anlage existiert. Es wurde sehr warm im Haus (am Ende 32 Grad) und keine Chance sie runter zu kühlen.
Sehr gut gefallen hat uns, dass hier Agrotourismus betrieben wird. Heißt, es werden sehr viele Lebensmittel sowie Wein angebaut und als Tasting (gemeinsames Abendessen) angeboten. Bio pur und das schmeckt man :-)
Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben sich um alles gekümmert.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The villa and the surroundings are very nice. There is a single minus for the villa, because it is relatively dark and because no air conditioning system exists. It was very warm in the house (in the end 32 degrees) and no chance to cool it down.
We really liked that here agritourism is operated. It means that a lot of food and wine are grown and offered as a tasting (common dinner). Pure organic and you can taste it :-)
The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating and took care of everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Lucia. Martina and her family were very welcoming. The location is very convenient for day trips throughout the heart of Tuscany. Supermarket is close by. I would recommend taking advantage of the meal cooked and served by Martina and her family. This meal was one of the highlights of our trip. The house is very clean and has every convenience you need for an enjoyable stay. We were sorry that the pool wasn't open yet, but with all the rain, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy it anyway.
