Elegant en gezellig appartement gelegen in een oude huizengroep (Borgo) daterend uit de XVII eeuw en gelegen bij Anghiari, een dorp in de provincie van Arezzo, waar in 1440 de beroemde “ veldslag van Anghiari” heeft plaatsgevonden tussen de legers van Florence en Milaan ( ook door Leonardo da Vinci geschilderd in één van zijn werken).
De Borgo bestaat uit 7 huizen, alle zorgvuldig gerestaureerd met behoud van het originele karakter van de huizengroep.
Het appartement “Dolce Vita” is zeer comfortabel ingericht, smaakvol gemeubileerd in een typisch Toscaanse stijl.
Men bereikt het huis over een korte onverharde weg, die niet geschikt is voor sportwagens en laag gelegen auto’s.
Afstanden: Anghiari met allerlei winkels op 1,5 km, San Sepolcro op 10 km, Città di Castello op 20 km, Arezzo op 30 km, Perugia op 50 km, Cortona op 50 km, Gubbio op 70 km, Siena op 100 km, Florence op 105 km, Rome op 250 km.

Perfect for max 4 persons, super surroundings, great pool, stunning views. The house is very nice, complete and very handy (super clean). Making an italian lunch or dinner, no problem.

We had a very relaxing stay at Dolce Vita thank you. The location was idyllic and the property had everything we needed. Anghiari is a beautiful town with great eating places, just a shame it was not within walking distance. On that note, we thought from the write up that there was a shop and a bar within walking distance but that was not the case. You need a car for this location. Also, there was a daily violinist playing in the property next door, so as long as you like the violin then all is ok. Danielle was very helpful. We got lost finding our way to the apartment so he came out and found us and he also supplied us with the use of a fan, as the upstairs room got incredibly hot. Thank you.

This place ended up being just the perfect base for our honeymoon. It is ideally located in the middle of Tuscany, not too far from main-line train stations for getting about. The facilities in the villa were excellent. Everything you could want, for a break away was catered for. From the picturesque location of the villa, to the friendly service given by Mr Daniele, for whom nothing was too much trouble. On our second night the broadband was knocked out by a thunder storm and he was there 1st thing next morning (on a Sunday) arranging to get it put back on. The villa was extremely clean and well maintained.

Property was clean, well equipped, excellent hot shower, good WIFI surrounded by farming, olive groves, vineyards and tobacco fields. Quiet, beautiful country views, in a good location to supermarkets in Sansepolcro, managed by Daniel who was helpful, obliging with very good English.

Het app. Was goed Mooi ingericht echt perfect
Tegen gevallen Jullie schrijven eigen terras en prive tuin geen van beide waren daar geen tuin meubelen en. Geen prive tuin. Voor de rest was alles perfekt.
PS. Hadden Julllie dit geschreven op Jullie site hadden we waarschijnlijk niet geboekt.

Disappointing: You write it has its own terrace and private garden, neither were there, no garden furniture and no private garden. Everything else was perfect.
PS: if you had written this on the website, we probably would not have booked.

[Counter comment from the owner] To explain better: the outdoor area is exactly like you can see on the pictures - there is a bench, a small table and 2 sun chairs. The outdoor area is right in front of the apartment but however it is not a private space, the apartment is situated in a small hamlet.
