A beautiful, well equipped villa in the middle of many interesting places like Lucca, Pisa, Vinci and of course Firenze ????

We were lucky because no-one was sharing the neighbouring villa with yhe shared pool for the first 2 nights out of the 3 night trip so it was nice and private. However the villa did not feel as clean as some of the properties we've stayed in as we tour Sardinia and when yhe neighbours did arrive there was no private space as even the front terrace could easily be viewed from next door and we had their child running onto it when we were there. The staff were lovely, but for the price we paid which was the most out of all the properties we're staying in Sardinia, we did expect something a bit more special.

Our family of three enjoyed our visit here. The location was outstanding with a great view of the lake out of both bedroom windows. The private patio outside of the kitchen was also very nice. There were a number of nice restaurants and places to walk to from our location. We took the train to this location and it was about a 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. The walk was a little bit bumpy with the type of walkways that were along the street. It is necessary to walk up three flights of stairs to get to the unit, that might be a concern for someone who is elderly or not very mobile. But for us, it was great and we did not mind it at all.

We stayed at the villa for 3 nights and we wished we were there longer. The villa is amazing and has beautiful views. Valentina, the owner was wonderful. She gave us suggestions on places to go in the area.

Beautiful villa in quiet surroundings ,it had everything necessary to enjoy a relaxing holiday but I feel I could have benefitted from more glassware and crockery. We were also told not to use the pizza oven and we’re dissapointed. Also the villa was called Merlata not Ofelia that was confusing.

Das Haus entsprach unseren Vorstellungen sehr. Alles war so wie beschrieben.
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort bei bestem Wetter und konnten den Pool jeden Tag nutzen. Guido, der Hausverwalter war jeden Morgen dort und reinigte den Pool. Dabei war er so unscheinbar, dass wir ihn gar nicht bemerkten.
Unser Hund fühlte sich ebenfalls sehr wohl und hat den Garten unterm Walnussbaum sehr genossen.
Das kleine Städtchen konnten wir fußläufig erreichen.
Vielen Dank!! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We had a wonderful time there, blessed with excellent weather, and were able to use the pool every single day. Guido, the caretaker, would come by each morning to clean the pool—he was so discreet that we barely even noticed him.
Our dog was also very happy and thoroughly enjoyed the garden under the walnut tree.
The small town was within easy walking distance.

Eine sehr schöne Villa mit viel Umschwung und üppiger Bepflanzung, welche von der Umgebung gut abschottet, sehr abseits und auf der Anhöhe von Montopoli. Grosszügig, sauber und gut eingerichtete Villa, anständige Küche mit viel guter Ausstattung der Grundkochutensilien, grosses Esszimer und schöne Möglichkeiten im Aussenbereich zu verweilen und essen.
Wunderbarer Pool, mit wenig Salszwasser und bester Temperatur (im September)

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A beautiful villa with extensive grounds and lush vegetation that provides excellent privacy; it is situated in a secluded, elevated location in Montopoli. The villa is spacious, clean, and well-furnished, featuring a decent kitchen well-stocked with basic cooking utensils, a large dining room, and lovely outdoor areas for relaxing and dining.
A wonderful pool with mild saltwater and the perfect temperature (in September).

As spectacular as the pictures look…seeing in person the beautiful landscape is even more impressive!
The Villa is so big and spread out that it took a couple days to remember which room was on which level. Nic and Silvia were great hosts. They gave us great recommendations for sightseeing, wine tasting and dining. Nic’s website has a link that is very helpful in figuring out how things work in La Novellina. Very nice setting in the middle of the Chianti Region! Everything worked and we entered a clean appartement. Big pool to hang out and walking distance to the midcentury center. We got a lot of good advice from Concetta, taking care of everything. We highly recommend this place!!
